We seem still to the midst of a recession with eating out and hotel occupancy rates dropping nationally, but the experience in Wales suggests that people who like their food and drink are still willing to eat out, provided the quality is right. A subtle difference exists between price and quality.

Luxury hotels Wales or upmarket restaurants both share the same commitment to quality, which has more to do with their inherent sense of style and purpose than any notions of luxury. (more…)

However, there are still many people who have never used a rice cooker, nor do they see why they should ever start. When the nights get darker after the clocks have gone back, we leaving in the morning to go to work and return in darkness. The weather is horrible, the sofa and television is beckoning, the kitchen or going out to a food store is not an attractive concept.

Fresher Week Stats - 5 Million Pizzas Eaten…

With Fresher’s Week over for another year, the UK’s newest Uni recruits have managed to chomp their way through a whopping 5 million slices of pizza, 840,000 kebabs and leaving more than 1 million empty pint glasses in their wake.
Fresher’s Week is a notorious for new students to party hard and to let themselves go with no hassle from their parents. According to UCAS, 419,627 applicants had a place confirmed at Uni this year, an increase of 44,523 on last year. (more…)

The Features Available on Zojirushi Rice Cookers

Japan, an entire nation of very picky rice eaters runs almost exclusively on Zojirushi rice cookers. This has to say something about its quality. In fact, having tried various brands, Zojirushi is now the only brand of rice cooker that I would ever buy. (more…)
